Activating paid memberships on May 11

This post is a heads-up for anyone who has pledged a memberships so far

Good morning, readers,

This post is the first of several simple heads-up articles about paid memberships for Strength In Numbers.

Things are going well enough here regarding traffic, community engagement, subscriber growth, and pledged paid memberships that I feel confident we can turn the Substack into a real business. To do that, I’ll be enabling paid memberships for this Substack on May 11, 2025. People who have pledged memberships should expect to be charged the amount of their pledge on or around that date.

My most sincere and humble thanks to everyone for their support so far and their belief in independent data-driven journalism. This is all very exciting, and I can’t wait to make writing directly for you my full-time job.
