What Enten doesn't say is how they determined the pool of MAGA Republicans. You can ask it different ways. You will get the biggest n-size if you ask self-identified Republicans if they consider themselves MAGA or not. You will get more if you don't include a not sure and if you also ask Independents who say they lean Republican in a followup question. You will get much fewer if you determine MAGA by asking Republicans to pick MAGA from a list of identities that include moderate, conservative, and Libertarian. Even fewer if it is single choice vs. multiselect. This stuff matters if you are going to make a declaration like this that will be used as a weapon by Trump and his allies. My guess is they defined MAGA in the most narrow way and didnt ask strongly/somewhat approve. Thats the only way to get a 100% result

I pretty much stopped watching mainstream news during the felon's 1st term. It was a preserve my sanity thing. I briefly watched it for a short time around the 2020 election. Didn't take long for me to be disgusted by their coverage of Biden And I wasn't a Biden fan! looks like I'm still not missing anything.

& here's the thing about CNN (Enten is just following editorial/management direction) CBS, NBC (didn't they settle with the felon?), ABC (they settled for ~$15M with the felon), etc. They chose to throw their reputation away to stay on the felon's good side for $.

It's bad enough the Enten clip gives the WH a talking point. It's all to easy to conclude that Trump BELIEVES the 100% number is some true measure. Really shameful that Enten is enabling that.

I minored in stats. What I remember most was a professor's quote from a favourite author, Mark Twain... “Figures don’t lie, but liars do figure.”

I about lost my breakfast when I saw CNN’s report. Obscene. Thank you for slicing and dicing
