Congratulations, G.E.M — your initials are on point — been a fan since your Economist days — so happy to see your success. Appreciate you keeping a place for your personal views as well.
Thank you for clarity. I highly value your numbers-based commentary and that is where I'll continue to focus my attention, ie. on SIN andhow you apply the polling data.
I like the idea of an independent website dealing with polls, the data associated with those polls and making the underlying data more widely available.
On a separate note, has anyone polled how a settlement of the Gaza war would have on the popularity of Trump or if foreign affairs even has any impact on his popularity?
This is all good news for you, your colleagues, your readers, media, and the broader content-consuming public! Thank you for all your great work and insights...keep 'em coming.
I'm a bit confused. Will you keep the same charts on the Strength in Numbers site? Or will it die and we have to go to 50+1?? I find the other site very user unfriendly for the non-professional little old lady that loves the simplicity of the current page... all available with one click. 50+1 requires all kinds of clicking and searching to find the easy to read charts... most of which I couldn't find.
So grateful for the important work you're doing - and congratulations on this exciting expansion!
There are a few questions I always wonder about but for which I can't find answers.
Maybe the answers wouldn't be as helpful as I think they would, but here goes:
I think a lot of people disapprove of Trump, but would vote for him - or another Republican - again, rather than for a Democrat. It might be good to get a handle on how big that pool is.
Relatedly, is there any issue or action or principle (on either side) that would sway a Trump voter to consider a Dem candidate? If so, what?
Congrats! Sorry for a critical note here, but it’s only because I am a typography guy and care about your success: you deserve a better logo. The outlined script, in particular, doesn’t reflect the quality or professionalism of your work.
Congratulations Elliott! This is exactly the kind of fresh thinking, intellectual quality/rigor and bold entrepreneurial spirit our current “media” meltdown requires. 👏
I'm glad that there will be a site for reliable data. (I hope the Democratic party gets a subscription!) I'm also glad that SIN will continue its interpretive mission. I'm proud to be a paying member.

I will store this question for our October Q&A. Thanks Mary!

This is awesome! We need honest data in these days and I’m sure that you will provide it. I will be very excited to read it.
Huzzah! Well done and brilliant "expansion" .... The country needs you all back together as a beacon of sanity and solid reality
