This week in political data: Thermostat go click-click-click. Plus: Virginia election forecast; more on party favorability data; and a new way to poll vote intention?
Indiana has some wonderful state parks that greatly benefited from the CCC. It is a program that I would like to see brought back, which Biden did, in a way, but it has now been killed by Trump enabling Republicans.
NPS is suffering behind the scenes, only bolstered for now by seasonal hires. Many behind the scenes jobs, like wildlife management, are being neglected.
I agree. There are too few workers to do the basics. The degradation will add up over the years, and it will be much harder to reverse the longer it goes on.
Why are you working on your vacation!!!???!! But it sounds really nice.
I think a lot of the disapproval for Democrats comes from the leadership response to Trump being weak and frankly, embarrassing at times. I mean, some of the Senators are still voting for nominees!
Unfortunately there are no "party leaders" who think about the Democratic brand. It's all about our Presidential candidate - the candidates who run in our primaries and the winner who emerges. That's the only mechanism we have to define our brand.
