Well, I dispute the paper's findings. Would you move to beautiful Fairfax, California, knowing that it's being invaded by Libertarian assles from everywhere else, who drive up prices and bring their selfish values with them, driving out the mellow hippies? Or would you move away when your once-affordable, sweet, artistic small town was overrun with Googlistas who start wildfires by dumping hot barbecue briquets over the back fence onto the grass? Would you stay and hope they'd learn to fit in and adopt your ways, or would you watch them turn Nextdoor conversations into vituperative competitions? Cant find the recording of the talk he gave last year, which was great, but was based on this paper of his from the previous year https://www.niskanencenter.org/the-density-divide-urbanization-polarization-and-populist-backlash/
