Thank you for sharing all of your happy news. I am proud to be a subscriber of your excellent work. We need reliable journalists and trustworthy information. This is a brand new world for content now that legacy media has proven their lack of worth. Best wishes on continued success, and for a happy, healthy baby. You won't believe how wonderful it is!

Congratulations to you and your wife and the new baby. Great job this year. I'd like to believe that in this day and age of ridiculous untrue news that a truthful Strength in Numbers is important to a lot of us.

Your site is one of the best things on Substack.

Congratulations on the podcast and the baby. As someone who works in advocacy I view your substack as essential reading. Proud to be a paid subscriber and if you’re not - this is the time.

Congrats on the coming baby! Happy to remain a paid subscriber during your paternity leave---I'm a union negotiator, and I believe we should all be able to take time at home to care for a new kid without going broke. Congrats on SIN turning 1 too! Busy busy year. :)

A NEW DAD!! Listen, we can live without you for awhile, you do what you need to do to help your wife and the new baby.

This is very exciting, and I'm glad to see mentions of your work on Bluesky and Twitter.

Congrats, Elliot!

Last year I was a disgruntled--actually more of a disheatened--liberal in ruby red Oklahoma. Somehow (thank Zeus) I ran accross a piece you wrote on how in a state race a Democrat lost her race BUT outperformed K. Harris by double digits. The begining of the begining of understaanding the demise of Trump and the GOP. I've been hooked ever since. Substack (Richardson, Krugman, Vance, the Contriaians and you) has largely replaced legacy media on my computer. I am a 40 year subscriber to the NY Times, the Atlantic, the AP and the New Yorker but my first stop each morning is Substack. I would like to see you and David examine the effect of "low information" voters.

I hope your "Like" was in response to my "ask" for Elliot and David to examine the role of "low information" voters.  It is my opinion they elected Donald Trump, and maybe others . . .Obama?!  I believe the definition for "low Information" is those voters who do not  know which party controls the two houses of the Federal government.  But they vote?!  WTF?

Mr. Morris you failed to mention an additional GREAT achievement, Heather Cox-Richardson adores 😍 your work!! Congratulations on your success & thank you for the great knowledge you bring to us. Parenthood will make your work even more fulfilling as you help to contribute to his or her world over their lifetime. But we need to work on this acronym, S.I.N. - it's just not doing it for me. It sounds like a nightclub that swings at 2:am over here in Chelsea. Words are my toys, joys and livelihood. We'll see what we can do. Sincere wishes for a safe delivery.

What happy news! Both of your success, and impending parenthood.

Don't bug out on the little rug rat to keep your readers fed. We will be fine. Kids provide the highest return on investment.
