I hope you are a good boss and take good care of your people, especially now that you are "your people." And I hope you don't forget how your old bosses ran you into the ground and derailed your sense of purpose. Ironically, that deep sense of purpose (unleashed and unconstrained) can do the same. We all want you around for a long time. you're the best!

No need to apologize. Simply because you are your own boss doesn't mean you can't take sick leave. Stay in bed, drink plenty of fluids. We will survive a few days without your posts. Honest.

HOT TODDIES, with cognac. Feel better and don't overdose on Nyquil, because you won't like the results.

Feel better, soon, E! Get yourself some good restorative sleep, eat some healthy steamy chicken soup and fresh oranges. Then take another nap.

The universe has existed for billions of years; we can wait a day or two until you have recovered to receive the insights you work so diligently to provide to us. Your health is more important than a few hours; please spend it wisely.....resting.......

Sleep can repair you. Working while lying down cannot. (If you’re reading this, you shouldn’t be.)

Elliott - rest and recover. Also know that readers are sometimes happy to have a day off so consider this a win-win!

Rest and recover! That is the most important thing.

Get well. At some point, please address why being a Democrat is "toxic." Is it possibly due to the other side constantly painting the party as "Radical Marxists?" The other side does appear to have message discipline.

I know! They're running against the craziest, most incompetent people any of us have ever seen, and losing a lot. Their campaigning consists of selling donor information to every D candidate and inundating their base with endless pleas for Moar Money.

By the way, we went to a James Talarico fundraiser in San Antonio last night, and I asked him 'Cornyn or Paxton?' He said looks like Paxton. What say you? I hope he's correct. A chance to put this Christian schism to the test.

Despite the sickness, you're still in better shape than Trump.
