You deserve the break. It appears your reputation has grown as I see your work quoted on other substacks. I also garden and it's very meditative.

Absolutely - I love your analysis as a recently-awakened human. We need you rested, sharpened, and focused for the coming storm. I’m even going to upgrade to a paid subscriber right now, to put my money where my mouth is.

Understood. Weeding is cathartic and great exercise. Except for the bugs and snails who are sure you'll never find them but you happily dislodge them to repossess your ground. A kind of garden-style justice. Enjoy the energetic rest!

weeding sucks. i’m willing to do a poll of gardeners to see who thinks it’s “cathartic” vs “sucks”

I'll probably be in the minority but I felt extra proud of yanking out the latest invasion of crabgrass in my yard. Like any bad guy, they'll sneak in and take over unless you put them and neutralize the threat of losing the whole yard by their takeover. Feels like what you do with your postings. Or maybe the delusion helps get this old body through the chore. 🌿🌿
